Highlighting the achievements of our son Kyle - a 24 week micro-preemie, who spent 192 days in the NICU. At birth Kyle weighed 1lb 1oz, and was 11.5 inches long. He had less than a 5% chance of survival, and they gave him 3 days to live... He forgot to read that memo!
I decided to start this blogger to highlight the life of my son, Kyle, and provide resources and support to parents of micro-preemies.

I met my wonderful husband on June 28, 2002 - one year later we were married in a beautiful ceremony in the Missouri Wine Country. One month later we conceived our twin sons, Konner & Kyle. After a very difficult pregnancy, my body finally gave out. I delivered my first son, Konner William at 23.3 weeks gestation on December 26, 2003 - he survived a short 13 minutes. I was able to keep Kyle in 3.5 days - just long enough to give some hope for survival. Kyle was born on December 30, 2003. He is our miracle baby!
